Get to Know Dr. Joshua Allen
Dr. Joshua Allen is a dedicated pediatric dentist and proud owner of Kidz Place Dentistry San Diego. Known for his gentle approach, warm personality, and commitment to helping every child feel safe and confident, Dr. Allen has built a pediatric dental practice centered on compassion, education, and exceptional pediatric dental care.
He received advanced training in pediatric dentistry and has years of experience treating infants, children, teens, and individuals with special needs. Dr. Allen believes that early positive dental experiences shape lifelong oral health habits, which is why he focuses on creating a welcoming, kid-friendly environment where parents feel supported and children feel excited to return.
Outside the office, Dr. Allen enjoys spending time with his family, exploring San Diego’s outdoor trails, and giving back to the community through school dental programs and local outreach initiatives.

When you and your child step into Kidz Place, you can always look forward to warm, intentional care from the friendliest team around. If it’s your child’s first time with us, our top focus will be getting to know all about you and your little one! We’ll also treat your kiddo’s smile to a gentle preventive cleaning and comprehensive exam. Parents are welcome to accompany their kids during treatment, and we always encourage you to ask any questions you may be wondering throughout your time with us!
After we polish and protect those little pearls, your San Diego childrens dentist will take the time to share their findings with transparent, judgment-free guidance. Giving you the freedom to choose which option works best for your child and parenting philosophy means everything to our crew, so we’ll never rush appointments or pressure you into a treatment plan.
